Parents and caregivers are valued partners in education at MSSD. Families stay connected with teachers and staff throughout the school year with Back-to-School Night, family events, and student performances. All family events are interpreted.
Living on campus provides students with enhanced opportunities for development. Students study with classmates, participate in activities and clubs that provide them with invaluable leadership and organizational skills, and benefit from social opportunities that celebrate the Deaf experience.
MSSD offers a broad range of academic and communication services that support student success in all areas of learning and living. Providers are certified or licensed in their specialty area and fluent in ASL.
