Application Timelines

For Spring 2026 Enrollment Applications will be accepted October 1-December 5, 2025 for students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.
October 1, 2025	Application opens. English \|\| Español
November 5, 2025	Applications reviewed on a rolling basis with decisions released biweekly via the application checklist & email.
December 5, 2025	Application period ends. Late applications will be considered if space is available.

For Fall 2026 Enrollment Applications will be accepted November 1, 2025-May 15, 2026 for students entering 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.
November 1, 2025	Application Opens.
January 26, 2026	Completed applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with decisions released biweekly via the application checklist & email.
May 15, 2026	Application period ends. Late applications will be considered if space is available.

Please note that any application period may close early for any or all grades if capacity is reached.

*Applications are considered complete when all required documents and educational records have been received.

Local education agency representatives may also apply for admission for deaf and hard of hearing students in their school districts with the support of the student’s family.

SUBMIT STUDENT RECORDS

Submit the Student Records Request Form to your child’s current school in order to have their records sent to MSSD.

ENROLLMENT

Once your child has been accepted, you will then need to submit the following medical forms to the Admissions Office in order to enroll. These forms will also be available to you as part of the online registration process for enrolling students:

Annual Physical, Vaccinations, and Oral Health Assessment (DC Universal Health Certificate)

Tuberculosis (TB) Risk Assessment Questionnaire

Medication Authorization

DC's Department of Health: School Immunization Requirements

DC's Department of Health: Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination Opt-out Certificate

Copy of the front and back of your medical insurance card

Medical clearance is required before your child can enroll.
